Mt. Rainier (Danielle and Kam's visit)

Danielle and Kam flew in to Seattle for a visit (Kam's first time here!) and for part of their stay, the four of us (including Phil) headed down to the big mountain. We rented a cozy cabin right outside the Mt. Rainier National Park for two nights - with the days to be spent relaxing, hiking, and soaking in the hot tub.

Although the weather was nice and sunny, Paradise doesn't fully thaw until after the fourth of July, so we encountered many feet of packed snow when we drove there (along with construction being done on the lodge and visitors center). So instead of hiking the flower trails so famous once all the white is gone, we drove down past reflection lake to do a lower-altitude option. Even still, this had lots of snow!
